IOSH Directing Safely Course / The Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)

IOSH Directing Safely Course in Sheffield. A one day course Directing Safely is designed to provide senior managers / directors with an understanding of the moral, legal and business case for proactive health and safety management and to give guidance on effective risk management. The course material and hand-outs are used in conjunction with guidance from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), the Turnbull Report and associated legislation. This course is designed for directors / owners of SME’s (the term ‘small and medium sized enterprises’ applies to organisations with fewer than 250 employees).

COURSE DATES:
A 1 day course including a short examination which gives delegates a brief introduction into health and safety requirements in the workplace. IOSH Working Safely Courses are held regularly throughout the Yorkshire region.
